About

I’m Don Rossmoore. I Help Leaders and Teams Uncover Hidden Obstacles and Achieve Their Goals.

I have been an avid reader of history since the third grade, the same year I became an intense player in team sports. These two events awoke a passionate, lifelong interest in teams, strategy, and leadership. In my twenties, I began daily yoga practice and found that I could use yoga to change behavior. I also began studying learning theory and management, eventually earning a master’s degree from Harvard and a master’s degree and Ph.D. from UCLA.

Over the past fifty years, I have consulted hundreds of leadership teams that have managed complex organizations. Examples of past clients include Apple, Hewlett Packard, Hughes Aircraft, MasterCard, RedHat, and Xerox; many focused on engineering and technology. Throughout my career, I have discovered how to integrate yoga knowledge into my coaching/consultant work, helping my clients understand and change their behavior to become better leaders. I  continue this work while reflecting on and documenting my experience.

Organizational improvements begin with improvements in communication and leadership. The range of discussable issues must be broadened to include all that must be managed better.
